Safety is our first concern at JJ Curran Crane
We are dedicated to the most elite operator certification programs available. Our operators attend classes, take written tests and participate in actual hands-on crane operation tests through the Operating Engineers Local 324.
We participate in the MUST Safety Program, which provides standardized drug and alcohol testing and awareness training. The safety awareness training includes 18 modules based on topics from OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training Program.
Compliance
We also comply with site specific safety training as required by our customers. Our employees have completed the safety training at some of the most safety intensive sites in southeast Michigan. In addition to the 18 training modules required by MUST, our employees participate in 12 other programs which are specific to our customers.
Safety Recognitions and Awards
In addition, JJ Curran Crane is committed to the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). A third-party certification program recognized by OSHA and ANSI requirements for crane operator competency. Every operator at JJ Curran has their CCO card.
Fleet Management Technology
We know there is nothing more important than keeping the job site, all people and equipment operating at the highest possible safety standard, day in and day out. At JJ Curran Crane we utilize the latest in technology to ensure that safety is the number one priority. We are able to verify and document safety training through our use of NexGen fleet management software. We obtain e-signatures in the field and we have a digital trail of every step of the job. Through comprehensive preventative maintenance reports and checklists, we are confident our fleet is always running in peak condition every day.
