JJ Curran uses its GMK 6400 all-terrain crane to place 100 modular apartment units at the corner of Michigan and Trumbell, the site of the former Detroit Tigers stadium. This project was part of a $30 million mixed-use project. Modular construction allows for units to be built off-site and then erected much more quickly saving time and money. JJ Curran’s 450-ton all-terrain crane fitted with its MegaWing lift – to increase capacity and reach was the perfect piece of equipment for the job.
