JJ Curran used their GMK 5275 to lift and place 50 acrylic panels and tunnels that would become the viewing areas for the new 33,000 sq. ft., 326,000 gallon penguin exhibit at the Detroit Zoo. Watch this time-lapse video of the project.

The critical lift topped out at 34,000lbs. All jobs require precision, and this one was no exception. Many of the pieces had to be threaded and maneuvered around the poured concrete of the penguin habitat.  The acrylic panels were manufactured and shipped from Colorado.
