JJ Curran uses it’s GMK 6400 450 ton all-terrain crane and a Grove 760 60-ton rough terrain crane to dismantle a tank farm for Country Fresh Dairy in Livonia, MI. Over the course of one week 20 tanks were removed. Due to the job site and the location of the crane, lifts had to be performed with full counterweight to safely carry out picks at longer distances. The rough terrain crane was used to lay the tanks down and load them onto flatbed trucks. The heaviest tank was 36,000 lbs.
