JJ Curran used its 450-ton Grove GMK 6400 all-terrain crane to erect its first tower crane, a Liebherr model 316 EC-H Litronic tower crane.
JJ Curran is installing, operating, maintaining and dismantling the crane.
Tower Crane in 3-Days
The tower crane is 128 feet tall with 197 feet of jib. JJ Curran coordinated with the construction company and the ironworkers to erect the crane in a 3-day period.
The crane will be operating at the job site for as long 15 months as the construction of the six-story mixed-use development progresses.
