JJ Curran Crane’s Mark Wade Named to SC&RA’s Crane & Rigging Group Safety Education & Training Committee
Detroit, MI. — JJ Curran Crane VP of Sales & Operations, Mark Wade was recently named to the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association’s (SC&RA) Crane & Rigging Group Safety Education & Training Committee. Mark will serve a three-year term from 2021 – 2024.
The committee’s mission is to monitor events and recommend actions on safety related issues effecting the Crane & Rigging industry. The members meet three times a year, to discuss safety programming, legislative, regulatory and standard settings, as well as act as liaison with the Ironworkers/Labor Management Safety Advisory Committee.
“I am honored to be invited to join this committee and represent JJ Curran,” said Wade. “I hope to deepen my knowledge of the industry from a different perspective and contribute to a group that helps improve safety and continued education of the workforce.”
Mark Wade joined JJ Curran Crane in 2016 and oversees daily operations. He is integral in the company’s safety program and planned and implemented the company’s COVID-19 response that enabled the company to continue work throughout the pandemic. Mark brings five years of industry experience and 24 years of leadership experience in the automotive industry to the committee.
