JJ Curran Crane Welcomes New Liebherr LTM 1130 to Fleet
Detroit, MI—October 12, 2015–JJ Curran Crane Company added a brand new Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 to its fleet of all-terrain cranes. This 155-ton crane features ground-breaking technology and safety features, 197 ft. of main boom and 62 ft. of swinging jib.
“This crane will be our mid-range workhorse for years to come,” says JJ Curran Crane President, Larry Curran. “It is easy to set up, road-friendly and will fill a gap in our fleet in terms of capacity and reach due to its long and variable boom system.”
Compact and maneuverable for its size, the new crane is ideally suited for industrial jobsites and is already booked for a three-week project at a local petro-chemical company. According to JJ Curran CFO Jeff Curran, “At 155 tons maximum capacity, this crane falls into the proverbial sweet spot for our customer base and we look forward to booking it for our Michigan and Ohio customers.”
