JJ Curran Crane Employees Receive International Crane Operator Safety Award
Jake Lopez and Norm Bush Honored
(Detroit, MI) – JJ Curran Crane employees Jake Lopez and Norm Bush, have received the 2020 Crane Operator Safety Award from the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association, an international organization comprised of more than 1,400 members from 46 nations.
The SC&RA Crane Operator Safety Award is presented to certified crane operators who exhibit exemplary work achievements, accumulating 10,000 consecutive man hours while recording zero accidents and incidents.
Safety is our first concern at JJ Curran Crane. We are dedicated to the most elite operator certification programs available – all our operators are CCO certified through the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators, (NCCCO). We work closely with Operating Engineers Local 324 and manufacturers to ensure our entire staff is up to date on the latest safety procedures specific to job sites and equipment.
Norm Bush and Jake Lopez together combine for 29 years of serving JJ Curran’s customers. They both make safety their top priority throughout the workday and are advocates for safety on the job site. Norm and Jake are vigilant about their daily safety tasks and continuing education. Safety is a discipline for both of these highly skilled, reliable crane operators.
Firms across the United States and around the world submit dozens of entries to the SC&RA Awards competition each year. The Awards program recognizes worldwide excellence in the crane, rigging and specialized transportation industry.
