Rent a Crane for Backyard Tree house Installations

JJ Curran was contracted to lift three sections of a tree house over a residence and into the backyard. This unique tree house was designed and constructed in California. The base was a 60″ trunk of an oak tree. Onsite difficulties included the 155′ radius, trees directly behind the pad, the 40′ height of the house that was 10′ from the pad, and there were no lifting eyes or lugs. Before JJ Curran, the homeowner contacted three different construction companies and their crane counterparts, and all declined to do the job. The job required our 175-ton truck crane and the heaviest lift was 6,000 lbs. It took 9 hours to complete the job. Working with the homeowners’ 4th contractor we designed a custom-made lifting beam that worked fantastic.
