Safety

Safety is our first concern at JJ Curran Crane Company. We are dedicated to the most elite operator certification programs available. Our operators attend classes, take written tests and participate in actual hands-on crane operation tests through the Operating Engineers Local 324.

We participate in the MUST Safety Program, which provides standardized drug and alcohol testing and awareness training. The safety awareness training includes 18 modules based on topics from OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Training Program.
 
We also comply with site specific safety training as required by our customers. Our employees have completed the safety training at some of the most safety intensive sites in southeast Michigan. In addition to the 18 training modules required by MUST, our employees participate in 12 other programs which are specific to our customers.

In addition, JJ Curran Crane is committed to the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCO). A third party certification program recognized by OSHA and ANSI requirements for crane operator competency. Every operator at J.J. Curran has their CCO card.
